Brock Hewitt is the Founder & Executive Composer of Stories in Sound, based in Toronto. Recently coming back to Canada from Los Angeles, where he was interning at Hans Zimmer’s Remote Control Productions, Brock’s focus is on creating a community of composers, that help filmmakers & creatives share their stories. As a composer he is well versed in many genres of music that influence his compositional vision. Brock is always looking to find the heart of the story being told so that it connects with the audience in a deep and reflective way.
Ian Aisling is a Lead Composer at Stories in Sound, a producer and instrumentalist, based in the Greater Toronto Area. He is fluent in the study of jazz improv, and the concept of mindfulness. As a result, Ian is inspired by countless genres of music and openly explores all compositional possibilities. As a composer, he is always searching for ways to engage listeners emotionally through live recordings, virtual and handwritten scores; with a heavy focus on storytelling. He sets a high standard when composing and continues to study all forms of music while maintaining an adventurous attitude.
Ben J. Lee is a composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist based in Toronto, writing music for many different genres. In the last few years, Ben has worked as composer on films as well as orchestrator, arranger, conductor and music director on many different projects. With a steadily growing portfolio, Ben steps into new projects with a fresh and unique compositional style with a focus to help filmmakers tell their story through music.
Matt Cole is a composer, producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Toronto. He was drumming on the kitchen table at 3 years old. Now he’s writing and recording with his band Adelaide, and producing and composing for artists, filmmakers and businesses. See what he can do for you.
